This consultation is recommended for all new clients. We will discuss your skin issues and goals and budget in order to make the best 12-month personalized plan. You are invited to bring your current skincare products with you (or photographs including ingredients). As part of this consultation, I will do a short skin resurfacing treatment so that you can leave your first appointment glowing.

The Cost of Consultation is €150- €75 of this will be redeemable against products or services booked on the day.

Initial Consultation

  • Having worked with many brands and traditional ‘skin peels, Dr Hook has found pHFormulas and loves the ethos and results. Using pHFormulas we can create a bespoke treatment for resurfacing. Unlike traditional peels there is no downtime. As part of this treatment Dr Hook can also include dermaplanning which takes away the upper layer of dead skin and fine hairs to create a glowing canvas.

  • Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin by puncturing the skin with small needles. The treatment utilises the skins ability to heal itself, in turn triggering the production of new collagen and elastin. In addition to treating pores, fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity, scaring and pigmentation it also enables topical products to penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their effectiveness.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections (aka Botox) are the mainstay of medical aesthetics. These have been around for decades and perfected over the years. Using toxins to stop muscles from moving or limiting their movement we can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These are particularly good for mobile areas like the forehead, frown and around the eyes.

  • Dermal filler can be used throughout the face to replace areas of lost volume. As we age we lose collagen and fat- particularly in the mid-face, which can cause the face to droop. By adding filler we can add structure back into the face. My aim with filler is not to change your face but to give back some volume where you previously had it.

  • As part of our initial consultation Dr Hook will help guide you to simplify and maximise your skincare regime. With so many products on the market and new ones everyday it can be hard to keep up or know what best supports your skin. In addition to this, women in particular battle with changing hormones which can mean changes to skin type, colour and texture.
