Dr Laoise Hook

BA (Hons.), MPhil, MBBS

Dr Laoise Hook trained as a medical doctor at St George’s Hospital, University of London and has worked predominantly in acute medicine and also in psychiatry. In 2016, she decided to pursue her interest in facial aesthetics alongside her NHS work and studied anti-wrinkle injections on Harley Street. Since then, she has studied in London and Dublin in treatments such as dermal filler, skin resurfacing, micro-needling, skin boosters and much more.

Dr Hook believes that facial aesthetics is for everyone, and that it’s an unfortunate trend towards heavy lip filler and frozen faces that has frightened many people off. Put simply, medical aesthetics uses advances within the medical and pharmaceutical industries to slow the signs of skin ageing and help to bring back areas of lost volume. Done well, facial aesthetics should be virtually unnoticeable, and you should just look a better version of yourself.
